WHAT IS FACE-BOOK PIXEL

WHAT IS FACE-BOOK PIXEL

Face book pixel is a conversion tracking, which can be used to track and measure the return on investment of face book Ads by reporting on the actions people take after your ads are viewed. By using face-book pixel in your website, you can create a JavaScript code to place on your website.
Types of pixel
We have two type of pixel
1. Conversion pixel: face book conversion pixel is a code provided by face-book. The cod is then embedded in a specific website page, when a visitor visits the page; it triggers the pixel and counts a conversion. Conversion pixel can be used to Track how many times an action occurs. By placing conversion tracking, you can be able to count how many people have visited that page and sales you made and optimize the delivery of ads to result in more of these actions
2. Website custom audience: it record page visits and actions from all visitors on your site, not just visitor that click on face-book ads.
In previous version of face-book pixel you have to use two different pixels to target custom audiences. If you want to track different conversions, you have to use different pixel on each different page for each of action you want to track.

But now, face-book pixel combines all these functions into a single pixel you add to your entire website. You can now use face-book pixel to measure, optimize and build audiences for your ad campaigns and n longer need to implement the conversion pixel and custom audience pixel.
